Youfa Group’s “Sailing Initiative” Human Resources Certification Training Camp Successfully Held

To comprehensively enhance the professional competence and business capabilities of Youfa Group’s human resources management team, solidify the foundation of talent management, and support the realization of the Group’s strategic goal—to advance from a production capacity of tens of millions of tons to a corporate value of hundreds of billions of yuan and become the world’s leading player in the pipe industry—Youfa Group specially invited trainers from Qingdao Maised Management Consulting Co., Ltd. to host the “Youfa Group ‘Sailing Forward’ Human Resources Certification Training Camp” at its Tianjin headquarters from April 14 to 16. Nearly 70 participants, including HR leaders and key business professionals from all subsidiaries across the Group, gathered to jointly acquire specialized knowledge, share management insights, and collaboratively strengthen their capabilities, thereby injecting new vitality into the development of the Group’s talent pool.

Jin Donghu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group; Sun Zhongli, Director of the Human Resources Management Center; Mao Zhendong, Senior Partner at Qingdao Maiside; Wang Yajun, Partner and Head of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region; Wang Ting, Employee Relations Expert; and senior consultants and trainers Wu Junxiang and Li Qingsong attended the opening ceremony.

Sun Zhongli delivered the opening address, providing a detailed overview of the training program and outlining the relevant rules and academic requirements for the duration of the course.

In his mobilization speech, Jin Donghu emphasized that human resources are the primary resource for corporate development, and that the HR team, as the core force in talent management, plays a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s talent pool and ensuring its long-term growth. He encouraged all participants to cherish this learning opportunity, adopt a diligent and focused attitude, and strive to listen attentively, master the material, apply what they have learned effectively, and leverage their knowledge to drive performance. He urged them to translate their acquired expertise into practical capabilities that can power their work, and to develop into versatile HR professionals who possess deep business acumen, exceptional technical expertise, and strong managerial skills—thereby providing robust talent support for the Group’s high-quality development.

This three-day training program adopts a full-time, centralized learning format and is closely aligned with the practical pain points and development needs of Youfa Group’s human resources management. The curriculum is precisely tailored and highly pragmatic, covering key areas such as a comprehensive overview of HR functions, refined recruitment and staffing management, enhanced training management, optimized organizational and position management, employee relations and labor-risk prevention and control, and talent assessment. By comprehensively addressing the hands-on operational demands of HR roles, the program delivers targeted empowerment.

The training is closely aligned with the practical realities of HR work, with instructors employing a diverse array of teaching methods—including in-depth theoretical instruction, case analysis, small-group discussions, scenario simulations, and hands-on practice—to seamlessly integrate specialized theoretical knowledge with real-world human resource management scenarios. This approach precisely addresses the challenges and bottlenecks encountered in daily HR operations, significantly enhancing the relevance and effectiveness of the training and enabling participants to hone their professional skills through immersive learning experiences.

The training session was marked by a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, with all participants fully engaged, attentively listening, actively participating in classroom interactions, and eagerly asking questions and engaging in in-depth exchanges that were closely tied to their respective job responsibilities. Through this intellectual exchange, they broadened their perspectives on work and built consensus on how to move forward. To further stimulate learners’ enthusiasm and initiative, the group was divided into eight study teams, which competed against one another based on a points system. This healthy competition fostered mutual learning and cross-fertilization, driving collective progress and vividly demonstrating the spirit of Youfa employees: self-discipline and altruism, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

During the small-group workshop sessions, members from each team pooled their efforts and collaborated closely, actively offering suggestions and engaging in thorough exchanges and discussions. By working together to complete all assigned group tasks, they not only honed their teamwork skills but also facilitated knowledge sharing and capability enhancement, thereby further strengthening team cohesion and combat effectiveness.

At the closing ceremony, representatives from each training group took to the stage in turn to share their insights and takeaways. All emphasized that the program was highly targeted and practically valuable, systematically organizing professional knowledge while effectively addressing numerous challenges encountered in daily work. This has injected strong momentum into more efficient human resources management and better alignment with the Group’s overall development strategy going forward.

In his closing remarks, Jin Donghu first extended warm greetings and sincere condolences to all trainees, while fully commending the organizational effectiveness of this training program and the learning achievements of the participants. He emphasized that all trainees must ensure that what they have learned is put into practical use, closely aligning their studies with their respective roles and work realities, transforming theoretical knowledge into concrete competencies, and effectively applying their learning outcomes to daily work to genuinely enhance work quality and efficiency. At the same time, they should firmly embrace a work philosophy characterized by institutionalization, standardization, and process-oriented management, balancing the Group’s unified standards with innovation at the subsidiary level, and using rigorous, well-defined standards to ensure the orderly execution of all tasks. In addition, he set forth clear expectations for follow-up efforts, urging all trainees to diligently carry out knowledge transfer, continuously strengthen their commitment to lifelong learning, consolidate their learning gains, and deepen their understanding. He expressed the hope that this training would serve as a new starting point, helping the Group and its subsidiaries achieve greater synergy, higher quality, and improved efficiency in human resources management, thereby jointly elevating the Group’s HR management to a new level.

On April 17, the Group’s Human Resources Management Center organized a visit to the Youfa Steel Pipe Creative Park for a select group of trainees. Following the tour, human resources leaders from various subsidiaries convened a special symposium to review and summarize the training program, while engaging in in-depth discussions on talent development and team building. The session aimed to strengthen consensus on key initiatives and enhance management effectiveness.

This specialized human resources training program is a key initiative by Youfa Group to build a learning organization and deepen its talent-driven corporate strategy. Moving forward, the Group will continue to refine and institutionalize its comprehensive, systematic training framework, with a strong focus on enhancing the capabilities of employees at different roles and levels. By delivering targeted, professional development programs, the Group will wholeheartedly cultivate a high-caliber, highly skilled workforce, thereby providing an inexhaustible talent engine to support its strategic goals of achieving “two RMB 100 billion” milestones and becoming a global expert in pipeline systems.
