With the vigorous spring breeze ushering in a new era of boundless vitality, the industry is poised to embark on a fresh journey under visionary leadership. Recently, the Jiangsu base of Youfa Group hosted a momentous ceremony marking the groundbreaking of the world’s first F700 high-frequency straight-seam resistance-welded pipe production line—and the official launch of the DN4220 ultra-large-diameter spiral welded pipe and anti-corrosion coating production lines. This landmark event, hailed as a milestone for the global welded steel pipe industry, brought together some 200 distinguished guests, including Youfa Group’s senior management, industry experts, and key strategic partners, all convening in Liyang, China, to celebrate this historic occasion and jointly chart an ambitious blueprint for elevating China’s welded pipe sector to a position of global leadership.

Bathed in the radiant morning light, distinguished guests from all walks of life have gathered. At 9:50 a.m., the ceremony officially commenced in an inspiring and majestic atmosphere. The master of ceremonies, Mr. Wang Lihong, General Manager of Jiangsu Youfa Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., took the stage first and extended the warmest welcome and sincerest gratitude to the leaders, industry elites, and partners present at the event. Mr. Wang stated: “This grand ceremony is a testament to Youfa Group’s decades of deep expertise in the welded pipe sector. It also represents a pivotal step for our company as we pursue high-end, intelligent, and green development—breaking through technological barriers in the industry and filling critical gaps in domestic production capacity—thereby injecting tremendous momentum into China’s steel pipe manufacturing as it strives to reach the world’s top tier.”

Yuan Lei, Marketing Director of the Jiangsu Youfa Key Account Service Center, took to the stage to deliver a speech. Drawing on his frontline market experience, he provided a precise analysis of the urgent demand in sectors such as steel structures, municipal engineering, and fire protection piping for large-diameter, high-specification, high-quality pipe products, while highlighting the industry’s core pain points—namely, existing specification bottlenecks and performance shortcomings. He emphasized that the newly launched F700 high-frequency straight-seam resistance-welded steel pipe production line, as a world-leading, state-of-the-art direct-forming welded square and rectangular pipe line, will completely fill the domestic capacity gap for large-diameter square and rectangular pipes. This development will enable Jiangsu Youfa to make a comprehensive transformation—from “selling products” to “selling services, value, and solutions”—while fully empowering distributors and end customers to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Mr. Wu Yaohua, Deputy Director of the Expert Committee of the China Steel Structure Association and former Deputy Chief Engineer of the MCC Group’s General Research Institute of Building Research, took to the stage to deliver a speech. He stated: “The F700 high-frequency straight-seam resistance-welded steel pipe production line developed by Youfa Group employs a combined cold–hot forming process and an on-line induction heating tempering technique, successfully overcoming longstanding technical bottlenecks in the industry. Concurrently launched, the DN4220 ultra-large-diameter spiral welded pipe and anti-corrosion production line is capable of manufacturing DN4220 pipes with a wall thickness of 30 mm made from X80-grade high-precision steel, boasting exceptional corrosion resistance. These two major technological breakthroughs underscore the robust capabilities of China’s intelligent manufacturing and are setting the global direction for innovation in welded pipe technology.”

Mr. Dong invited Mr. Wu Yaohua, Mr. Li Jiancheng, General Manager of Zhuji Xinsheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Mr. Zou Xuewen, General Manager of the Procurement Management Department at Changjiang Jinggong Steel Structure (Group) Co., Ltd., Ms. Shen Wanyu, Vice President of Anhui Fuhuang Steel Structure Co., Ltd., and Mr. Wang Junmin, General Manager of Anhui Honglu Steel Structure Group Co., Ltd., to take the stage and jointly witness this glorious moment!

Following the ceremony, guests were escorted by staff into the production workshop of Jiangsu Youfa Intelligent Pipelines and Pipeline Technology, where they conducted on-site observations and gained an immersive understanding of Jiangsu Youfa’s robust capabilities in precision manufacturing and unwavering commitment to quality.
