A Delegation from the China Metallurgical News Agency Visits Youfa Group for On-Site Inspection and Research
Recently, Chen Hongfei, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the China Iron and Steel Association as well as Party Secretary of the China Metallurgical News, together with Fan Tiejun, Deputy Director of the China Metallurgical News; Chen Xiaoli, Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief; Xu Keke, Deputy Director (in charge of daily operations) of the New Media Center; and Liu Chaojian, Director of Consulting, paid a visit to Youfa Group to conduct on-site research, gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s development, and jointly discuss major strategies for the industry’s advancement. Li Maojin, Chairman of Youfa Group; Jin Donghu, Party Secretary; Zhang Guangzhi, Deputy General Manager; and Guo Rui, Secretary of the Board and Director of the Strategic Development Center, extended a warm welcome. The two sides engaged in thorough exchanges on topics such as corporate development, brand building, and industry empowerment, and subsequently signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation.
During the research visit, Chen Hongfei and his delegation first toured the Youfa Steel Pipe Creative Park and the plastic-lined pipe workshop, where they conducted on-site inspections of production processes and product R&D achievements. They also sought detailed information on the company’s development history, corporate culture building, equity cooperation mechanisms, and practices in green transformation. Throughout the tour, Chen Hongfei highly commended Youfa Group for its steadfast commitment to the real economy and deep expertise in the steel pipe sector, as well as for the remarkable results it has achieved in green and low-carbon transformation and technological innovation and upgrading, noting that these efforts offer valuable lessons for the high-quality development of the steel pipe industry.
At the symposium, Li Maojin first extended a warm welcome to Chen Hongfei and his delegation for their visit and guidance, and then provided a detailed overview of Youfa Group’s development philosophy and vision. He stated that Youfa Group has consistently taken the shareholding cooperative mechanism as the cornerstone of its development, uniting the efforts of all employees, pursuing meticulous and in-depth operations, and continuously driving the company’s transformation and upgrading. The group is fully committed to advancing toward the goal of “scaling from tens of millions of tons to hundreds of billions of yuan and becoming the world’s leading giant in the pipe industry,” while striving to make an even greater contribution to the development of the welded steel pipe industry.
In his address, Chen Hongfei began by expressing gratitude to Youfa Group for its longstanding support and assistance to the China Metallurgical News Agency. He then provided a detailed overview of the Agency’s development journey, its core business portfolio, and its future strategic plans, emphasizing that, as an authoritative industry media outlet, the Agency brings together comprehensive industry resources and offers multiple advantages, including publicity and guidance, think-tank consulting, and resource networking. He stated that, as the country advances its 15th Five-Year Plan, he hopes the two parties will deepen their cooperation, fully leveraging the complementary strengths of the media platform and the corporate entity to deliver targeted efforts in areas such as corporate publicity and reporting, brand image building, and industry think-tank consulting, thereby helping Youfa Group achieve higher-quality development.
At the conclusion of the symposium, with the joint witness of leaders from both sides, Youfa Group and China Metallurgical News formally signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation. The two parties will engage in comprehensive and in-depth strategic collaboration across multiple areas, including news and publicity, corporate brand building, industry think-tank consulting, and resource sharing and synergy, thereby leveraging their respective strengths, fostering coordinated development, and jointly promoting the high-quality growth of the steel pipe industry.
